Most of us now use some kind of social networking site online, and it’s important to protect ourselves online.
First and foremost, one of the most important steps towards protecting yourself is to keep all of your passwords safe. Your passwords should never be shared with anybody, and they should be different from site to site. None of these sites will ever ask you for your password, so don’t believe any bogus emails or messages that you receive. Keep your password private, refuse to share it and report anybody that does ask you for it.
It is also a good idea to teach yourself how to remove spyware, just in case.
