Sandpit

One of the simplest, cheapest, and lowest cost outdoor toy that you can get for your children this summer is a sandpit

While it might be tempting just to go out and dig a hole in your garden and fill it with sand there are a number of drawbacks to doing this. It is important for the health and safety of your child that you keep the sand as clean as possible and need to ensure that animals, such as cats or dogs are able to foul the sand as you are putting your child at serious risk of all sorts of infections.

A proper commercial childrens sandpit will typically come with a lid which will prevent this happening when the sandpit is not in use as well as keeping out leaves and other debris that may fall into it.
