A world class rock climber, the Santa Cruz, California native is a person with celebrity status. He attended one year of high school I Santa Cruz and then went into rock climbing, at age fifteen, on a full time basis, a sport he has always enjoyed.
A humble person, he enjoys talking about his favorite sport, rock climbing but does not like to talk about his accomplishments. He has been known to say he does not want to indulge in a sense of inflated ego. Chris Sharma, the celebrity personality would rather have a more balanced life but is kept from this balance by his rock climbing accomplishments.
