A Break from Tradition
Modern dartboards come in a few different varieties. The standard dartboard comes made of cork or bristle and is played with steel tip darts. Then there is the soft tip dartboard, similar to the standard dartboard except played with soft tip darts. Then there is the electronic dartboard, also played with soft tip darts but with a twist. An electronic dartboard keeps score for you and give you the added advantage of offering numerous different games.
This advantage of offering different games aside from the traditional cricket, 301 or 501 makes throwing darts fun and engaging for the entire family. With an electronic dartboard, the computer keeps score, monitors who’s turn it is and sets up the games for you leaving you with nothing to do but have fun.
I am a traditionalist when it comes to playing darts, but I am always in the mood to spice things up a bit and break out the electronic dartboard. Thinking of getting a dartboard for you office, gameroom or bar, consider an electronic dartboard as an alternative to standard darts. I promise you will be glad you did.
