Oriental weaponry is not all the same.
I have always wondered what the difference is between a ninja sword and a japanese samurai sword, so I decided to carry out a bit of research on both and finally solve the mystery.
These weapons seem to be highly popular for both weapon collectors and oriental enthusiasts alike.
They have captured the imagination of ancient civilizations along with the morals and values that each of these cultures displayed.
Ancient feudal Japan entrusted its defense to an elite group of warriors known as the Samurai. These were highly respected individuals whose values of respect, loyalty, pride and honor were second to none. There intricate relationship to the royalty that they served gave them a very high standing in their community.
In sharp contrast the ninjas were a group of warriors which were highly respected. They considered their swords to be tools of the trade which were simple and crude, whilst the samurais considered their swords to be valuables that needed to be respected and valued.
