Would the Warriors have made the playoffs if they still had Jason Richardson?
Jason Richardson was traded by the Warriors on draft day for…Brandon Wright?! Would they have made the playoffs if J-Rich was still on the team?
Yes.
I guess J-Rich was the REAL MVP of the GSW.
yes definitely no question about it

they would have made it if don put bdiddy in the FOOL!

I think so cuz they probably wouldn’t have had a 0-6 start to the season.

They would’ve made the playoffs if they didn’t have all those sissy and screamish bandwagon fans. They jinxed the Warriors by talking too much sissy stuff.

They thought Monta Ellis was the future, and paid the price for it. That’s why Golden State is a horribly run franchise.

As much as I love the Warriors, they need J-Rich. We really needed him when Jackson was having those off nights from the 3 point line. Although, Brandon Wright is a good player and will probably benefit us later on down the stretch. If Don Nelson had just put Baron in the 2nd half, we would have won the game for sure. We needed him to drive to the basket, and he was just sitting on the bench. Bad move on Don Nelson’s part, I blame him for that loss. And I blame Jackson for gettting suspened for those 6 straight losses we had in the beginning of the season!

No Question …he was guy that can get his shots ..can score ..can play defense …and their bench would been good if they had J-rich ..seens he would start ..monta would go to bench that means they would have great bench but know their bench sucks …so yes they would made the playoffs if they had him !

What up KS,
Considering what a non-factor Brandon Wright was this season for the Warriors. It probably would have made a big difference. J-Rich was a big part of everything that the Warriors had accomplished last season.
i don’t understand Nelly and sitting Davis for the entire 2nd half in the most important game of your season and i think Boom might be opting out.
A lot of what-if(s) but i say Yes to your question- because from the Warriors games i’ve seen- Brandon Wright doesn’t really contribute very much- and definitely a lot less than J. Rich did.

You’re all idiots. No, seriously you are. Short term it seems like a bad trade. But Ellis has established himself as top shooting guard. And most of you have never seen Wright play, so you have no knowledge to assess this trade. Nelson doesn’t play rookies very much, but in the action he does see, he has shown flashes of future stardom. Brandon Wright is going to tear it up next year and the Warriors won’t have to fight for a playoff spot.

What were Nellie and Chris Mullin thinking? They never play Wright even though Nellie’s run-and-gun style would be perfect for an undersized PF. The coach is inconsistent, B-Diddy is somewhat stable, and Cap’n Jack was cold for the last 15 games. Monta and Biedrins (who didn’t play enough) were the only constantly productive pieces the Warriors had this season. J-Rich would’ve given them another player that could have carried them for stretches. He always seemed to get hot at the right times.

J-rich is averaging 21+ points this season.. not to mention he’s healthy this year… have you guys seen him posterizing folks again.. not to mention the numerous 30+ point games he had recently.. If J-Rich was still with Golden State.. we would have made the playoffs no problem.. I’d rather have J-rich shoot the 3 than baron davis.
