If you are a new aquarium owner you need to make sure that when you are buying
aquarium supplies that you remember to pick up a heater for your tank. Don’t be cheap and buy one that’s too little for your fish tank. fish do not have sweat glands or any sort of inner thermostat, so they are very sensitive to water temperature change. They can handle gradual water changes, but not drastic temperature changes. Make sure that you have good water circulation throughout the tank and make temperature changes gradually.
