What are my chances of getting into Washington State University and the University of North Texas?
I have a 3.09 GPA, made a 21 on the ACT and 960 on SAT. I’m ranked in the third quartile, and have about maybe 35 hours of volunteer work. I’m in AP English, and taking an additional year of science and math ( physic and math independent studies). I live in Texas, but have family in Washington.
Just a quick thing- you still wont qualify with family in washington- you need more than an address to get in state tuition if that makes a difference (it goes by your legal parents/they check given your high school is in Texas more than likely).
In any case- probably not- with that sat score, thats simply too low at both schools unless your gpa was higher- which is also on the low end of admissions stats (mychances.net) You may have to go to a cc. I would apply, you may get in, but the chances are probably only near 10%.
