I really have NEVER …
I really have NEVER liked the “U” shaped design. Keep the stacks however give it a relatively more even spread and have the engineering and sound engineering departments at UNT create a computer model simulating and calculating the best design that creates a better acoustic environment. I’ve been on Florida’s field during the game and I have to say that the noise level on that field is a HUGE advantage and adrenaline booster.

Fouts is not that …
Fouts is not that bad and not the worst in D1. Look at Lockhart Stadium that FAU uses… Its a FEMA trailer on stilts and my high school stadium was better than that. But I love the designs for UNT’s stadium and I think you guys can make it happen, so good luck!

As a parent I support the new stadium. Fouts is an embarrassment to UNT and the worst stadium in D1. It definitely affects recruiting, which affects the quality of the team, which affects the fan base, attendance and spirit. No high school recruit gets excited about playing at Fouts. Only those nobody wants come here..well except the coachs son maybe. UNT has the ability to become a respectable football school like recent programs S Fla and E Carolina. Build it and they will come

I feel bad for UNT. How can a recruit goto Fouts field and want to play there. I have seen Parks with better stadiums. I think UNT deserves a new stadium. Good Luck!

Still not a Big School Stadium…….If they are going to waste…er I mean Spend that kind of money, why not go ahead and make it 45 or 50000 seats ? The stadium would be impressive even if the team is not

Might I suggest …
Might I suggest doing some research before you make stupid comments like this. The athletic fee is completely different from where Rec Sports gets their money, different fees. The reason why Rec Sports is having their budget cut is because they are just like any other club on campus and should be able to raise funds like any other group too. And, our team will get better with a new stadium.
