		<description>You don't actually want a B.A. in Social work, you will want a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work).  If you do not have your BSW, regardless of your degree, you cannot be called a social worker in many states.  Not all colleges offer a BSW, even though they may offer an Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral/Social Sciences, so on and so forth.  The only way you can tell if they offer BSW and MSW degrees is if you go to the Council of Social Work Education website and search your state.  I have linked the search area for you and you can just input Texas as the state and it will tell you ever school that is accredited or going through accreditation at this time, here is the site--
