What do I need to do to research relocation from Mckinney,Texas to Bothell,WA?

wE OWN A HOUSE IN mCKINNEY AND WANT TO RENT IN bOTHELL,wa. We want to rentout our house.

To add on to the first guy’s answer, use a property management company to mange the renting of your house in McKinney, as opposed to friends and family. At least you’ll have in writing what’s expected of you and what you expect of them, which will give you legal recourse (to some degree) if something goes wrong.

  1. I really don’t recommend renting out your house in McKinney. We tried doig the long distance renting thing with a house we owned outside of Chicago after we moved to the Detroit area and it was a nightmare, especially between tenants. We though we had friends and family in Chicago that we thought would help us when needed, but that didn’t happen. So unless you are absolutely sure that you have someone who can manage the property for you while you are gone, I don’t suggest renting it.

As for renting in Bothell, are you looking to rent a house in Bothell, or rent an apartment. Renting an apartment should be fairly easy. You can check the apartment guide or for rent guide online and research the apartments. If you are looking to rent a house, you should probably go and stay in a hotel or some sort of short-term housing and then look for a house once you are there. For the most part, you will have to check the classified ads for houses. You can check them online and make calls so that you can get appointments scheduled for when you arrive. Check each house out completely, and review the landlords contract carefully before agreeing to rent.
