Former member of Congress, Cynthia McKinney (D-GA), shares her views on stopping the Iraqi War at the “March on the Pentagon” rally. She charged: “The country has been hijacked.” McKinney added: “Why is Impeachment off the table?” The demonstration was held on March 17, 2007. It began at Constitution Ave. and 23rd St. in Washington, DC. The protesters then paraded across the Arlington Memorial Bridge and walked about one mile to the Pentagon. The huge rally was organized by the ANSWER coalition.

Cynthia McKinney and Ron Paul both voted against the Patriot Act, FISA Act, Real ID Act, National ID Act, and Iraq war in congress. They are also both strongly against the 700 billion dollar bailout and Federal Reserve. Your right though I think McKinney would want to spend more money on a healthy environmental then Paul but I think they could meet somehwere in the middle there. I think theyd make a great team!

We should go back …
We should go back to some sort of physical currency standard. “Legal tender” can only survive as long as the market has fair inflation rates. More bills doesn’t mean more value, quite the opposite in fact because the less each one is worth and the less we believe in “legal tender.” If only we could build the silver standard to last, it would probably be a lot more stable than gold.
