		<description>I'm confused about what the purpose would be to have Montessori for only 6 months then switch to a different model.  I don't think that would be beneficial.

Montessori is designed to continually move a child's development forward and is designed to be a method that looks at the child through a long term goal, rather than a short term goal.  I'd hate to say it, but I don't think a well run Montessori school would take a child for a short term such as that unless you were moving and considering Montessori somewhere else after your move.
