Eating Protein Helps You Lose Fat

Who ever said that eating made you fat didn’t know about protein. Food takes energy to break down… all food. Even that cookie you had a few days ago took energy to break down which meant you burned calories by eating.

But one type of food stands above the rest for calorie burning… protein.

Foods like lean chicken, fish, bison, and seafood actually take a lot of calories and boost your metabolism to digest. Notice that I didn’t put foods like steak, roast and other high in fat and cholesterol proteins.

Research shows that a high protein diet will help you to burn more body fat and keep your lean muscle mass healthy and you stay toned.

Remember, the best protein options are lean… low in saturated fat. Other great options include eggs and turkey.

This is just one way to lose fat, another would be to have fat burning workouts that are aimed for your level and fitness.
