You might want to check with local VFW's in regards to catering. A lot of times, if they have a Women's Auxiliary, they offer buffet-style catering. Or, instead of a full dinner reception, have light snacks, drinks, and dancing! This way you just need a DJ and a florist, which some hotels provide. You will also get a free wedding planner and it ends up being cheaper because they have packages ranging in price from 25 per guest to 150 per guest.
