Where is a nice and CHEAP place to rent out for a ceremony and reception in dfw?

I’m looking for somewhere outdoors or a really nice place to rent out for the ceremony. I’m not really worried about the reception. Just we are on a very tight budget and have 200-300 people we are inviting. We are planning to have our wedding during this next summer, sometime in June or July and I’m having difficulties on finding somewhere.

What is dfw? anyway check with most VFW’s American leigon halls, Eagles clubs, and see if they have facillities that can fit your needs.

How about eloping to Vegas? You’d really save some money if ya don’t gamble and all the guests well they can BYOM (Bring your own money). Just an idea!

  3. you will just have to go look at places. Do you want to get married in Dallas, or Fort worth? I would recommend going through a hotel that can take care of the food, ceremony and reception rental, linens, alcohol, and decorations. This way you just need a DJ and a florist, which some hotels provide. You will also get a free wedding planner and it ends up being cheaper because they have packages ranging in price from 25 per guest to 150 per guest. This is about the cheapest you are going to get per person and you get everything in one place.

  4. I’m not from your area, but here are some thoughts:
    Frisco Park: http://www.friscofun.org/parks/Pages/PavillonRentals.aspx
And maybe any of these places: http://www.fairpark.org/lease-a-facility.html

*How cute would it be to take photos inside the Museum of the American Railroad??

You might want to check with local VFW’s in regards to catering. A lot of times, if they have a Women’s Auxiliary, they offer buffet-style catering.

Or, instead of a full dinner reception, have light snacks, drinks, and dancing!
Instead of a full bar, try serving a "signature drink" (by the pitcher)

    Good luck and happy planning!
