I am looking to purchase agri land near the DFW area. Anyone know how to find foreclosed land? ?

Or you know of land for sale by owner if possible. We want 20-50 acres in either Hunt or Kaufman Counties, but will consider any cty within a hour to two hour drive from DFW.

if you go to www.hud.gov you can find all the foreclosures in the states that are represented by the states….
if you go to local realtor web sites you’ll also be able to find foreclosures represented by banks….

Foreclosed ‘bare lands’ are nowhere near as common as are houses. The reason for such is that lenders didn’t go bonkers giving ridiculous loans for such properties.

Nonetheless, such properties come onto the market now and then. Your best bet is to check the various counties involved to see if there are any lands about to be foreclosed. Such records are public information.

As far as ‘for sale by owner’ properties are concerned, if the seller doesn’t advertise the properties, you are reduced to driving around and checking for "for sale’ signs. Not an easy task, but it can be accomplished.
