does anyone know of a spot to meetup along I 45 close to the 287 Midlothian exit in the DFW area?

I need to pick up someone who is traveling from Houston to Dallas and I live close to 287. I wanted to meetup somewhere along 45 without having to travel too far. Any ideas? On all my trips to Houston, I do not remember anything along the hwy for quite awhile. I can also head north, but am not familiar with that route.

That exit is the southmost end of Ennis, TX just 3.5 miles north is the exit for TX 34 and many many restaurants and gas stations, etc that would be good meeting spots.
